Sparkassenkunde Posted March 29, 2023 Share #4 Posted March 29, 2023 Excellent work again, Marc! What a joy to have such wonderful models on a regular basis. Maybe I should spend some of my hobby money on booking some models, too. From the small session I had with Fotomeyer in Berlin this year I learned what a difference it makes to work with professional photo models compared to family and friends Is this a kind of flare in the upper left part within the background? There are two ring structures that distract me just a little bit. Am I right in assuming, this was made in Studio 72?You linked to them in one of your latest IG posts and the room looks a lot like one from their own posts.
e1k3 Posted March 29, 2023 Share #5 Posted March 29, 2023 Your portraits are always worth looking. This one is special, these natural colors look perfect for me. And this special Noctilux look... Intense and captivating picture!

Thank you very much James for your kind comments. working with professionals makes it easier to concentrate on the light and everything else which is important. But you should be well prepared with a moodboard to plan your shooting with your model to get the best results. Yes it was in the Studio 72. A wonderful studio with perfect daylight. I did not change the ring structures because it did. Not disturb me. If I am happy with the eyes, sometimes I forget the rest. S Maclean Posted April 9, 2023 Share #9 Posted April 9, 2023 Have to go back to this combo. I don't get good results with the 50's converted onto the x2d. Great results with 75 and 90. I suppose the background exposition and focus hide the vignetting?

There is a vignetting but if the person is in the middle of the photo, it looks (at least to me) very convenient. This is the version out of the camera without any changes: Welcome, dear visitor! I pulled out my CV 50 1. and it does work well without too much Vignetting. A little hard to get great focus at that aperture on full format.
