Advertisement Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Hi lmans, Take a look here Voightlander 75mm F1.8 Heliar Classic lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
intangiblethings Posted March 17, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted March 17, 2023 I have this lens and have used it with my M6/MP. Did you have any specific questions?
adan Posted March 17, 2023 Share #3  Posted March 17, 2023 I've used it only on the M10. But of note, the Voigtlander 75mm f/1.8 Heliar Classic is virtually a direct copy (albeit with modern coatings) of the Leitz 73mm Hektor f/1.9 from 1931 - and itself is also closer to 73mm actual focal length than 75mm (marginally wider field of view by about 2% all around, when compared to 75mm APO-Summicron at 3m/10 feet) Compare the 6 elements in 3 cemented doublets designs: For the C/V layout, see here (part way down): https://leicarumors.com/2017/03/26/voigtlander-heliar-75mm-f1-8-vm-lens-review-with-the-leica-m10.aspx/ ...and here is the Leitz Hektor 73mm layout Welcome, dear visitor! LocalHero1953 Posted March 17, 2023 Share #4 Â Posted March 17, 2023 I owned a Hektor 7.3cm for a while - a fun lens on the M240, though a bit niche. That swirly bokeh dominates the look the moment there are small highlights in the background, such as flowers.
