'lux 50 focuses ok, focuses now, focuses ok

Neil, i did it myself with the excellent help i found on this site by searching for

' back focus '. it is not as bad as it would appear. give it a try gently. what i did is

mentioned in this thread.

Did you adjust it yourself, or have it done by a technician? If you did it yourself then bravo - nice job! Would it be useful to post instructions for other people who have issues with focus mis-adjustment?

That is sharp, especially if there no post processing (?) ... i had the same problem with my M8 lux combination and sent it back to solms for adjustment, along with my 28mm. On the Report paperwork back from them, it said they made adjustments to the camera and the lenses.

have you tried other distances and also other lenses?

 

one neat feature of the new canon and nikon is the the focus adjustments via a menu option! how cool is that

 

 

should leica implement something like this in M9 and free them and us from this nightmare

pp was slight crop,level adj and resize for web.

Meherdat, i tried the lenses i had. at random apertures and distances. primarily

close and widest apertures. i am 97% satisfied. definitley 75/2 now front focuses at 2.
