Digilux 2 in Hong Kong needs service

Well, the sensor on my D2 has finally given up the ghost. I bought it here in Hong Kong when the D2 first came out. Unfortunately, the dealer where I had purchased the camera is no longer here so I can't get their assistance. I would appreciate if someone on this board could help detail the procedure outlining how I should go about getting it serviced (i.e., sensor replacement by Leica). Anyone know whether the local distributor for Leica products could help? Many thanks.

David, Email Leica Service, and then after their response, send it direct to Solms yourself...avoiding the middle-man that just pro-longs the service experience.

Although I posted this is another thread, I wanted to pass this on in case any other Leica owners in Hong Kong or Asia need servicing. I dropped off the Digilux 2 with Schmidt Marketing --the local Hong Kong distributor -- to fix the CCD defect, clean the lens and for a full check-up. Schmidt replaced the CCD and brought the camera to full working condition and had it ready for pick-up in three days time. Exemplary service. They really stand behind their product. Kudos to Schmidt.
