Lovely image.

Good to see more evidence of that the M8 can do. Sure, it takes time, you have to hold it still, and I find it's a it's a bit easier wide than long - but hasn't it always been?

Below: ISO 1250 1/11th second exposure 28 Asph fully open.

The guy with his daughter is a wonderful Sri Lankan photographer called Dominic Sansoni. Check his work on Three Blind Men Archive.

Reiner - that is a really lovely photograph. Will have to remember the mobile phone as a lighting source! Here's a shot at 640, 35 'lux wide open, Halloween night.

What a lovely batch of photos. Kurt - love the bokeh in your photo of your son. Pete, incredible the way your process let the candles keep their essence.

Lovely examples of the M8 in low light.

Moderators, please let this roll a little longer. Please.

Hmmm! Yes the M8 is indeed versatile in available light. It is an area where many of us are learning to venture.

Eg. My GSD (Merlin) has also taken advantage of 'available' and beaten me to the bed. A suitable caption could be: "whose been sleeping in MY bed? .... and here he is!"

Last night - M8 + Noctilux @ f1.0, ISO 640 @ 1/125 using available (bed)light.
