Carlos Rojas Posted March 5, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings to all. I recently acquired this watch through a private auction. I have scoured the internet trying to get any information on the watch to no avail. The back cover says: Chronograph Stainless Steel Water Resistant 50M Swiss Made 44012. Can anyone here possibly shed some light on this timepiece? It is in excellent condition, but I have absolutely no clue on its value. Thank you in advance….. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Hi Carlos Rojas, Take a look here Information on Leica Chronograph watch?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted March 5, 2023 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2023 We don’t do valuations of anything here, but this looks like a watch from about 10 years ago. As you can see, it’s a promo watch for Leica Geosystems, not Leica Camera. This discussion might be of interest.

andybarton Posted March 5, 2023 Share #5 Posted March 5, 2023 I'm guessing, but this does look a bit like a Swatch I bought a couple of years ago when my real watch was being serviced.
Anbaric Posted March 5, 2023 Share #6 Posted March 5, 2023 Swatch chronographs may well be using ETA movements from the same family as the current Chrono Arena, possibly including the cult MoonSwatch: https://calibercorner.com/eta-caliber-g10-212/
andybarton Posted March 5, 2023 Share #7 Posted March 5, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the link - this all looks highly probable. Here is the Swatch (Edit - look at the state of the "crystal". This thing is worn very infrequently. Cheap and not so cheerful) Welcome, dear visitor! Carlos Rojas Posted March 8, 2023 Author Share #9 Posted March 8, 2023 Thank you for the info. That indeed looks to be where my watch might have come from.
