A little off topic - Paul McArtney inspiration

With all the bitching and defensiveness of late I thought I'd post something of a distraction, something you might now know. It's not M8 specific, but what the heck...

Paul McArtney's wife Linda was once discussing her cameras with Paul when she said, "I like my Leica like my Nikon" - her two fave cameras at the time. Paul suddenly stopped listening, he's thinking, "Woah, that's a rhyme pattern if ever I heard one" and in due course he wrote the song "She Loved Her Biker Like an Icon", but the "sound" came right out of that offhand comment by Leica lover Linda. I know this is true because I was in the room when he recited the story. Here's an extract from the lyrics below.

She loved the biker like an icon

Gazing at his picture everyday.

She loved the biker like an icon

Slowly watching precious water drip away.

That's an interesting little anecdote, thank you. And, yes, I knew which rock superstar you were talking about.

Cheers,

Sean
