Just on the cusp between Autumn and Winter, on a misty afternoon, hence the flat feel to the colours. There is something sad to the way the lone majestic tree has lost clumps of its leaves.

Thanks for the comments. And thanks to Keith for introducing me to Portra via an earlier post in the film forum.

 

I'm glad that the views are that #1 does stand out. I thought it did but obviously I am biased!!!

 

Portra actually seems to do what it says - capture lifelike colours naturally, which means that flat colours are flat. I wanted to try to capture that flat yet clear feeling that occurs during bright overcast. I have to say that using Portra has given my M6TTL a reprieve from selling it as I am now getting usable results.
