Copy of the original from 1767.  Built in America but purchased by the British Royal navy to guard the eastern coast and collect tea taxes from smugglers and rebels.

Built of white oak, she is 97 feet long and carried eight cannons and a crew of 40.  She proved to be too small and after the revolution she was sold back to America.

M10+35mm Summicron. Two frames stitched together. Now let's eat some blue crabs from the Chesapeake Bay...
