I was scratching my head trying to figure out why it’s happening, especially since I tested it when the update came out and it was fine, and it’s occurred to me that the one thing that was different was that when I was testing it I was shooting to card, and when I’ve tried to use it on jobs and it’s made the camera lock up, I’ve been tethering to Capture One. Has anyone tried shooting in the TTL (auto) mode (or even just not X mode) while tethering? 

if anyones still looking at this.. tried shooting to card yesterday in HSS mode and it froze up almost immediately. Ugh.
