Dear friends, I have been using the Connect pro around a lot since the beginning of December - but mostly in automatic/TTL, which is why I hadn't noticed it.

I have now made extra tests in Manuel - and also found this error, also a drop to exactly 3.0. If you switch briefly to automatic, it is correct again.

Wait for FW update...

This is similar to my experience with the SL2, M11 and M10M.

Perplexing to me as to why there's such a disparity in experience. Other than an occassional failure of the flash to trigger, I've not experienced any problem with my Profoto Connect. SL2, two D2s, 1 B10. Seems to work fine for me in auto and manual, +/- HSS.

JeffWright - would you mind sharing your camera and connect pro settings for those of us that it isn't working to make sure that we're all on the same page with how you are set up?

Thanks!

Leica SL2: manual ISO, manual mode, usually manual focus (with AFS on joystick press), flash sync with second curtain. FW 5.0. Haven't tried 5.1 yet, just installed.

For Profoto Connect: usually Channel 1, 1 head each on A, B, C. Control Mode Air 2, X-sync off, Advanced settings defaults. Firmware A5fe9fc31c. For HSS, auto mode. Anxious to try 5.1.

uhhh hey everybody.. so it seems they've just dropped Firmware v5.1 which is said to have support for "Manual HSS on Profoto Connect".. halle-fucking-lujah!!

https://leica-camera.com/en/search?query=sl2 5.1

Just to say i put this new 5.1 firmware in my SL2 and now the profoto connect pro works flawlessly, no more issue in manual mode, even in HSS :)
