Thanks, Mr Fjeld.

I confess to not being much of a portrait shooter, but I will continue to shoot with this lens and keep your request in mind to see what I can provide. Maybe I will convince my wife and friends to play model for me.  If you're interested in the bokeh, I have a couple of shots in my very small 90mm album that display that nicely.

Otherwise, I'd suggest taking a look at the 90mm flickr group, though I cant say how many of those were actually taken with the Elmarit-M. I see a few in there marked as the older tele-elmarits. Also, I dont know how to filter by monochrom 246 shots there either if that's a concern.

Either way, I will try to provide you with something, hopefully before I disappear for the month of December.

Best regards,

Phil

Thanks Phil! Had a look at your excellent photos and I have to say this is one lens I'd like to own in the future! Price is fair too!

Looking forward to more of your photos - and especially portraits (which I haven't been into myself I'm afraid..)

I have gotten pretty good at U-turns.  Driving south through Alabama today, I spotted Doc's Country Store with old Ford pickup parked out front.  I made the U-turn, went back, took a few shots, and had lunch there.  All good. [MM (Typ 246) + Apo Summicron-M 1.2 /50 ASPH]

I have a long way to go if I want to be an accomplished street photographer as I don't like to invade people's private space. I did manage to take a photo of someones cameraphone today though - so I'm getting better at it :)

This is the Tall ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl of Bergen coming arriving after a 3 month journey.

Another wonderful walk in the local forrest tarnished by history. All of these photos are from an area which was used as a prison camp by the German occupying forces. Over 90 russian soldiers as well as a few Norwegian resistance fighters died in this camp. Some were executed and the rest starved to death. Most of the physical objects were blown up after the war but the trees the last photo is from the period.

I snapped this chap (50 ASPH Lux) performing Beatles songs in Liverpool next to the Beatles statue.

I cropped out John and Ringo for a tighter shot.

Started thinking about what Paul and George may be saying as they passed by, some thoughts were:

- "Hey dude, what kind of lyrics are they?"

- "he won't earn much even if he sings eight days a week"

any other suggestions from members?
