Meeting friends

(Venice, Italy)

I sold my M246 to buy an M11M. Now the M11M is at Leica Customer Care for a 4-month trip and I now miss the "old" M 246 and am increasingly rummaging through my hard disk for photos taken with this camera. I would never have believed it, but somehow I miss the M 246 ... ok, the M11M is another big step, but the M 246 wasn't bad!

Four months repair trip just down the road from you, that is plain silly for a camera costing 8000 euro/pounds.

i am glad I got cold feet after taking M11M for a spin in May 2023, M246 is more than good enough.

  • 2 weeks later...

First vacation with only Leica (M10-r and M26 Monochrom) and had a blast. Tried to make a topic out of that, but it is always a bit of a hassle here if you want to post more than 3 pictures in a single post/topic... But she mono love!

Fantastic. Beautiful crunchy contrast with liquid blacks against flickering highlights. This is the attraction of B&W for me.
