Took the MM 246 to Devon with the Zeiss Sonnar f1.5 50mm lens. Still learning with this camera. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I think they are beautiful! You are blessed with wonderful scenery, a very good camera and a keen eye for landscape photography. Thanks for posting :)

Pre-bar stretching after a good game of football. Lots of flare from the V1 35mm Summicron but it's quite gentle and I like it. Approx 12800, f2.8, 1/60th

Malaga vs Eibar last night. This was taken on Malaga scoring the winning goal.

Taken with the Voigtlander 35mm f2.5 which flares a lot less than my 35mm Summicron V1 under floodlights.

As you can all probably tell this camera is going everywhere with me right now and that looks likely to continue fo rthe forseeable future.

Gazimestan, Kosovo. Typ 246 + Summilux 24/1.4 (I love this lens). This is a sacred place for Serbs. It is currently located in Kosovo, in the Albanian dominated part, and is guarded 24/7 against possible attacks. This is where king Lazar (Serb king) in 1389 lost the battle against the Turks and where the former Yugoslav president Milosevic (Serb) held a speech that triggered the violent surge in nationalistic and ethnic tensions that led to the breakup of Yugoslavia. Here it always ended in tears...

Slightly off topic, Milosevic speech in 1989 was battle rallying cry, actual foundations of the aggression were set much earlier under he auspices of the Serbian Academy of Science.

So today was the local half marathon and I thought that I would do some sports photography :) In reality I was prefocussing with a 50 or 90 and underexposing a lot to hold the highlights. In the end I decided to embrace the contrast of the backlit shots and not try to recover too much shadow. I prefer the drama. All of these images (and a couple I'll upload later) were run through Silver Efex to give them my favoured look.

The next shot shows the MC who was animating the crowd in quite an energetic manner.

As promised, a couple more. Of course an M is not a great camera for sports but great for wandering through the crowds.

A great juxtaposition of the old and the new with mood stirred in. Superb!
