Subject is really captivating, great looking macros. How did you manage to focus, use of Visoflex?
DirkR440 Posted March 20, 2018 Share #1971 Posted March 20, 2018 Nice light and no dust particles, if i try similar i usually have evidence of lack of dusting ;-). Subject is really captivating, great looking macros. How did you manage to focus, use of Visoflex? Thank you. I really tried to remove all the dust before I made the picture. I kind of cheated a bit with focusing. I used my M-P (240) first with Live View and then when I know that the focus is correct I just changed the cameras. Meanwhile I got a Visoflex III and I'll also try it with it.
mmradman Posted March 21, 2018 Share #1972 Posted March 21, 2018 Thank you. I really tried to remove all the dust before I made the picture. I kind of cheated a bit with focusing. Providing you don't move your camera support in relation to the subject while you swap cameras it should work. On the other hand if you had M246 it would be so much more straight forward ;-)
DirkR440 Posted March 21, 2018 Share #1973 Posted March 21, 2018 Providing you don't move your camera support in relation to the subject while you swap cameras it should work. On the other hand if you had M246 it would be so much more straight forward ;-) Yes, correct. Usually when I make macro pictures my camera is on a tripod. Actually the extension bellows is connected to the tripod. So that makes it very easy to change cameras. Now with the Visoflex III I don't have that issue anymore. With the M246 this would be of course easier, but I also love to do some long exposure shots with the Monochrom and here the MM1 has the advantage of 240 sec max. shutter speed.
