Great! You should make a thread on its own with stills for this work, which goes beyond what gear you used

Thanks! But it would be boring. I've been at the same shot (give or take a few props) for the last 30 years, trying to get it right.  In brief: a window,  a feathered background, some horizontal planes, and a balanced structure where stuff fits into the the shady parts like sudoku.

...not all photos are meant to be perfect or even in focus....I shot this with my MM1 and 35 summicron asph at 3200 / 1/4sec  and wide open to capture the excitement of the wedding party getting into their limo....just my friends, I don't do this for a living... :)

Versus Sand and Wind, post #3333?  Same shot, more contrast in sky?

Jeff

Crikey, I must have posted it twice Jeff. There are two versions so maybe you are right. I keep checking my attachments in the settings in case of re-posting issues, it usually tells you if uploading the same image.

..at a Charlotte Roller Girls match with my MM1 and 35 Lux vII circa 1970 lens...again a little motion to show the action.
I probably would do better with the camera mounted on a tripod or if I used one of the mono sticks to stabilize the camera instead of hand holding it.
