Hi all  I'm the new guy. I've had my MM1 for about 5 years...purchased it used without any issues and wasn't aware of any issues as I don't really spend time on forums. Unfortunately I recently noticed spots on my sensor and hoping for a solution in the near future to get it repair as I love the camera. I deal with it in PP when I need to.
I primarily shoot people on the street and occasionally landscapes but I like to get out there.

....the camera on this shot exposed for the street...I pulled up the shadows to expose his face and lightened the background in the process...not intentional but I kinda like it....

thanks, my MM1 is the silver version.
The silver version just reminds me of the old M3 and M2 film cameras and I wanted one that gave me the same feel.
I still have a collection of Leica film cameras and even though I rarely use them today, I can't part with them....

I am afflicted with the same problem.  Many people here are.  This is just a big support group for people like us.

Pandemic Glasgow, last week in the fog. Nobody around, no cars, everything closed.

The brutalist building at the top of the street is Kentigern House, a Ministry Of Defence building. It was built at the height of the IRA bombing campaign on the UK mainland. The windows are recessed, and the walls sloped partly to deflect the blast from car and truck bombs. It's a building literally shaped by politics.

M Monochrom mk1, 50mm Summilux ASPH.
