Steady hand.

Thanks - in fairness, I took three shots on those settings, and this was the only one that didn’t have some blur due to the shutter speed being so low. Just try to avoid going above 1600 ISO if I can help it.

Red or orange filter?

 

I can see why you ask, but there was no filter at all. I do have red, orange, and yellow filters, but they're all 46mm in diameter, and the Summaron is 39mm. With this shot, it's just a bit of dodging and burning, using layers in Photoshop. I may have gone a bit overboard on the sky - it looks less blocked up, and has more subtle tones on the uncompressed TIFF file.

 

On a side note, the more I use the 35mm Summaron, the more I'm liking it. What a fantastic lens, and it really shines on the M Monochrom.
