MM1 & Voigtlander 75MM f1.5    -Lying on my desk keeping an eye on things. 

This camera is going in next week for its 2nd sensor replacement due to corrosion. After several months of back & forth with Leica, they're not giving in, it's going to cost me €1, 600- to repair. Plus the same again for my M9 which is also going to have its 2nd sensor replacement as well 😡

Is this a problem with the new Type 53 sensor? If so it's the first time I've heard of it. Perhaps it would be best to start a separate thread so others can see this.

Hi Brent - it's the 1st vers. sensor.

The original sensor in the camera from manufacture in 2012, cracked & had corrosion. This was replaced in April 2015. The replaced sensor is corroding as well. I think that that the Type 53 sensors were installed after Sept. / Oct. 2015.
