colint544 Posted February 26, 2017 Share #1541 Posted February 26, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's not really always this dark here in SW France, but the MM1 renders "dark" so nicely that I tend to take it out more in the evening………This was taken a week ago and currently the MM1 is at Solms for it's second sensor replacement, hopefully this time it will come back with the newer version. I hope too that the "newer" sensor renders like the earlier one. Have any of you done any comparisons between the two sensors? MM1-1250 ASA, VC 25mm at f4. I have the new, improved sensor in my M Monochrom mk1. It was fitted in April last year. I can't see any difference between my shots pre and post new sensor. Which is, in my book, a good thing. Cheers!

I have to say too that I have once again had great Pro' service from Leica at Solms, I couldn't be happier with them in this regard.

colint544 Posted March 11, 2017 Share #1551 Posted March 11, 2017 I especially like the first shot. I saw MES back in The Fall days in the onset of the 1980's down in NZ. I hope he was good. The closer he is to home, the better behaved he seems to be. I took that in 2014. He lives in Salford, and his mum was there, so he was really good. Seen him in Glasgow and Edinburgh and he'd have been booed off the stage if he hadn't already wandered off. The crowd was booing an empty stage. But, like most Fall fans, I've got Stockholm syndrome, and adore him anyway.

Hardster Posted March 12, 2017 Share #1555 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Yes that was me Eoin. I spent most of the time along and near the top of the first bank on the southern end. How did you manage to have access to the infield?? The one area that I would have liked to access for more shots. It certainly was fierce competition. Great that your daughter made the podium. Edited March 13, 2017 by Hardster
