robsteve Posted October 22, 2007 Share #83 Posted October 22, 2007 This is a shot from last fall. I was using the DMR with the 35-70mm Vario-Elmarit.
mgcd Posted October 23, 2007 Share #84 Posted October 23, 2007 Robert - Those reds are truly nicely rendered. Did you process in Flex or C1?
Likaleica Posted October 23, 2007 Share #85 Posted October 23, 2007 I haven't had my R9/DMR long, but this is one of my favorite photos so far... Welcome, dear visitor! Jamie Roberts Posted October 23, 2007 Share #86 Posted October 23, 2007 Oh ok, so if Robert gets to post three, then I'm going to as well (the problem is I have dozens of favourite DMR shots. The DMR is a gorgeous thing, and I love the R glass as much as the M glass!) This is the current 50 Lux at about 1.6...and that's my son Jake, mugging for the camera Welcome, dear visitor! hunterits Posted October 23, 2007 Share #87 Posted October 23, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wow: This is really getting good... love seeing the new DMR shots...both are OUTSTANDING images. Thanks for adding them. John
robsteve Posted October 23, 2007 Share #88 Posted October 23, 2007 Robert - Those reds are truly nicely rendered. Did you process in Flex or C1? Conrad: It has been a while since I converted that picture. I think it is probably done with Adobe Camera Raw in CS2. I don't use C1 and Flexcolor used to change the filenames to put a dash between the L and the rest of the numbers in the file name. The 2.8 version of the 35-70mm used for this picture also does a very good job with colours too.

mgcd Posted October 25, 2007 Share #90 Posted October 25, 2007 I think this is one of only two DMR frames I ever converted to B&W. Processed & converted in C1 Pro. Welcome, dear visitor! Jamie Roberts Posted October 25, 2007 Share #91 Posted October 25, 2007 {snipped}.Jamie - Your son looks like a porcelain figurine in this really wonderful pic. Hey Conrad--yeah, it's sort of wonderfully twisted I have some more "normal-looking" shots of him, but they don't have the same composition. Thanks! I like your BW conversion from C1 too. Just curious--did you use the JFI profiles or the C1 BW profiles or something else?
mgcd Posted October 25, 2007 Share #92 Posted October 25, 2007 Hey Conrad--yeah, it's sort of wonderfully twisted I have some more "normal-looking" shots of him, but they don't have the same composition. Thanks! I like your BW conversion from C1 too. Just curious--did you use the JFI profiles or the C1 BW profiles or something else? I used one of the C1 B&W profiles, either Portrait B&W or Portrait B&W Low Key. Cheers,
