I understand this subject has probably been discussed before, but going through the forum archives, I have not been able to find a definitive answer...

When using the Metz 44 MZ-2 with a Digilux 2, should the flash be set to "TTL" or Auto?

Also, I wondered if I need to make any adjustments on the camera or on the flash when using a stofen bounce?

Thanks!

Thanks, Dugby. I am using an SCA 3502M5 adapter. I looked at the chart, followed the instructions, but it turns out the adapter's GN setting was already toggled on. The chart does suggest putting the flash in the "TTL" mode. If that's the best setting, it would contradict some of the things I've read here on the forum. At least a few people have said to put the flash in "A" mode given this particular camera and flash combination...

I have the Metz 40MZ-3i with the SCA3502-M4 and the TTL option does not work on a D2......and this is understandable and acceptable as the D2 does not have TTL capabilities from a Flash Gun's perspective.

This is documented in both pdfs for SCA3502-M4 and SCA3502-M5 from the Metz website.

Setting my flash to "Auto" works very well, and the D2 does pass ISO, Focal length, and aperature information to the flash.
