Advertisement Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Hi wintersway, Take a look here I love my Digilux 2 but this is nuts..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Bo_Lorentzen Posted October 16, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted October 16, 2007 Well, it IS a nice sunshade... Â Gotta love eBay... if you can not sell it there, maybe it can not be sold. Â Â Bo
dugby Posted October 16, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted October 16, 2007 By grace, the winner may be fortunate that it just has a sensor failure, and might convince Leica Service to repair it under the extended warranty.....
marknorton Posted October 16, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted October 16, 2007 Completely bizarre, makes you wonder if the buyer has read the listing. No indication of what is wrong with it, no questions asked (or at least, answers published). Â I once listed a piece of AV equipment which was listed as only working on the UK 240v 50Hz and PAL 625 line TV system and it was bought by a bubblehead in Buffalo who then left me negative feedback when it arrived. The shipping cost more than the item did.
Riley Posted October 16, 2007 Share #5  Posted October 16, 2007 yes i was watching that auction, as i want a dead D2 for a project i have in mind (please donate your dead D2 here ) have a look at the bidders, and you will see that some individuals inexplicably bid against themselves, and then there are some very similar nicks. And BTW, i dont know about you guys but dead as in wont power up, probably doesnt mean a dead sensor.  very suspicious, thats all i can say  for US based persons heres an L1 that i cant get access to anyway 110179575931 bad lens, but seems like a cheap body
lesh Posted October 16, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted October 16, 2007 In that same vein..... a sealed, factory refurbished Digilux 1 recently sold for $256, then a few days later a 'gently used' example went for $355. I suppose some just gotta have at any cost - sometimes the 'e' is for entertainment on eBay.
leicapfile Posted October 16, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted October 16, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Interesting. Perhaps the sensor went dead, the battery was bad or needed charged. In that case quite a deal. Â If the sensor was bad, wonder if Leica will repair it for free for second owner. Â Jerry

You use them as a US delivery address, and they reship the item to you.
