As far as I know the SBOOI doesn't have a mechanical parallax correction that tips the viewfinder forward for closer views. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes, though one has to remember that the SBOOI was made for the Ic, If, Ig models. With a „normal“ II- or III-model which have the elvevated unit for the viewfinder and rangefinder, the SBOOI is too high, so the  dashed line isn‘t exact anymore for short distances.  1 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
