I am originally from Northern Illinois, near the Wisconsin border.  I know all too well what those winters are like.  These days, no thanks.  I'm now retired and living in the Nevada desert.  

BTW, your website looks fabulous.

Thank you! I'm also retired now and I definitely get the appeal of the desert. I spend the middle part of winter, Feb and March, in Palm Springs. I'd have a hard time permanently leaving Madison. Spring, summer and fall there's nowhere on the planet I'd rather be.
