Filter for Elmarit-R 35/2.8 year 1970

Hello, I have added another 35mm to my equipment, an Elmarit-R 35/2.8, model of the first series, year 1970, from the serial number.  I haven't received it at home yet and I ask you for confirmation, please:

1) On the Leica Wiki I saw that it requires vi-series filters: 48mm filters are also fine, right?  

2) I have a Summilux-R 50/1.4 first series, on which I screwed a 48mm and I saw that you can mount a 49mm cap with the lens hood mounted: do you know if you can do the same thing with this 35mm?

I can see that no one knows , or that no one cares...... Maybe it's a beggar's solution?

Everybody ( ...= I ) may think that you will see by yourself when you have the lens in your hand.

Some questionings are just waste of other's attention/time.
