I definitely find having geolocation information useful in photos. It’s not so much that when I look at a photo, I want to know where I took it. That’s usually quite rare unless I’m travelling in unfamiliar locations.

What I find most useful is that I may know where I’ve taken a photo but have a hard time finding the photo many years later in my library with tens of thousands of photos. But since I know where the photo was taken, I can search by location and quickly find the photo in a few seconds.

Also, it seems Leica has made some serious improvements to the FOTOs app’s geotagging capabilities and now it seems to actually work very seamlessly, at least on iOS, with the SL2-S. Can’t speak for other cameras as I don’t have a Q2 or M11.
