robsteve Posted October 11, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted October 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anybody else notice a great improvement of 1600iso on the DMR since version 1.3 of the firmware has been installed? Â I was playing around with the DMR at a hockey game tonight and shot at 1600iso. I think I increased the exposure by about a third of a stop in Lightroom for this conversion. Other than that, it is just a standard Lightroom conversion. Â Â For the pixel peepers, here is the full sized file converted to a jpeg. It looks like the DMR now does a noise reduction on the high ISO like Canon and Nikon do. Â http://www.robsteve.com/LUF/L1230213-3.jpg

hunterits Posted October 11, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted October 11, 2007 Thanks for the information. Have not shot at high ISO recently, but you have inspired me. The image really does look outstanding for such a high setting. Thanks for sharing. Â John Hunter
