plessdude Posted December 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) So I just received my black M11 and I have two odd issues that dont seem to make any sense. I tried searching this forum and only found one random reference without much help. The first issue is that my ISO Dial is displaying the wrong values. I have to set it to "800" to be in Auto Mode, "ISO 1600" puts me in "ISO 64" mode., "ISO3200" puts me in "ISO 200" and on and on. It's like they were misaligned from the factory. I tried a few resets and nothing seems to work. I am on firmware 1.5.0.1. The second issue I have is for some reason the flash icon is always displayed on the LCD. I am not using a flash and haven't even attached one to the camera. My M10 didn't display this behavior. Is this normal? Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Hi plessdude, Take a look here Two odd issues with new M11: ISO Dial wrong and Flash icon won't disappear. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Knipsknecht Posted December 9, 2022 Share #2 Posted December 9, 2022 Well, of course it’s not normal, and if a factory reset doesn’t help I would recommend either with the shop or the individual where you bought it, or to get in contact with your nearest Leica representative or direct with Wetzlar. By the way, you‘ve posted your question in the german speaking part of the forum😉. Not a big deal, but if you need some advice concerning where to turn to if you are living outside of EU-Europe, it might be better to ask a Mod to move this thread to the international forum. There you probably will get more answers, too😊.
