intex Posted October 10, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted October 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) All my flash pictures taken in a cave (of walls, etc, approx 6-10 ft) all came out fuzzy. I did not notice this until I had left, as I could not view the pixs as I was taking them. Â Is there a setting I am using incorrectly? The camera was set on "P". I am getting fed up with this camera. Thism is the same one that just had the shutter replaced after tens minutes of use! Â Why didn't I get a Canon !!!!! Thism is the same one that just had the shutter replaced after tens minutes of use!  Why didn't I get a Canon !!!!!  Camera set on Manual rather than AF? - the switch on the lens barrel is easy to move in error whilst handling the camera. However.......you seem to still be hankering after a Canon, if that's your bag, go for it...............life's too short.
dugby Posted October 11, 2007 Share #3  Posted October 11, 2007 Robert, I think this may also apply to a DL3, on my DL2 I came to the conclusion that the "P" setting was designed for the un-discerning user. (i recall this option does not even allow RAW captures). The camera took full control of everything....possible even shutter speed, which may be too low for your scenario.  Also just make sure you have inadvertently selected Macro  When we started to use the "A" setting the images suddenly became very useful.
