I have a Leica R 60mm F/2.8 Macro Elmarit ver II E55 3 Cam lens and just purchased the Leica Macro Adapter R #14256.

Will this adapter work properly on a Leicaflex SL2 body? All of my lenses are 3 Cam and work fine, but this adapter doesn't seem to have any Cams (see attached photos)

Do I have the wrong adapter? My Leica Compendium says that it is the right adapter for that lens, but what about my Leicaflex SL2 camera?

Thanks

-Brad

I think that the adapter #14256 is not compatible with my Leicaflex SL. I think that I'll need the previous version adapter #14198 (see the last photo - below)

This is he previous version and has three Cams.

Now confirmed. The older Leicaflex models used the 1, 2 or 3 Cam system. My lenses are 3 Cam and are compatible with pretty much all Leicaflex models. This adapter #14256 (the top two photos) is for the newer Leica Reflex models such as the R3, R4, R5, R6, R6.2, R7, R8 etc. My Leicaflex SL2 would need the older Macro Adapter R #14198 (bottom most photo) with the 3 Cam system.
