While running after a frog, this couple charming leap-frogged my frame.

Just F4.0 so the DOF is not great but at least I had 1/250th.

Even though these two pictures are having some shortcomings I like what I can do with an M8 in macro even without a Visoflex.

but I think you captured some fine detail here ...I am surprised to see a dust bunnies at this wide an aperture, but these should be corrected

had you stopped down a bit more, you may have gotten sufficient DOF to get the couple in focus & still had enough speed to get a sharp photograph

my guess is that you used the 90 Macro lens ...did you hand hold these or use some support?

It looks like your Faraday cage is leaking.

Well, indeed the macro Elmar, with 'googles', and hand held. Quite hard and therefore I needed the fastest speed I had, I decided.

Good Readr! About the visible dust, yes somewhat annoying in the picture. I did some cleaning this morning and it solved all but some very small dots only visible at F22. [i didn't clean since May when I bought the M8]

Still I think most 'dust' is more like from the shutter mechanism (i.e. anodized particles), and not attracted into the sensor surface by statics. I have changed my lenses a thousand times now on the M8. And as accompanying picture shows (Summicron with Eiffel tower on the right and the Arc de Triomphe on the left, I do not treat lenses like the book says (place them on the table, but them in my pocket etc..) and cannot forget the habit of using a film-M.
