Advertisement Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Hi AGeoJO, Take a look here Where can I get a 49mm Leica IR-cut filter?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Fotomiguel Posted October 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted October 4, 2007 The same question? I'm as well waiting too long!
divory Posted October 4, 2007 Share #3 Posted October 4, 2007 By chance I have the B&W UV-IR Cut filter if that would do. Unopened I will pass it on to you at cost if you are interested. I now use one for the MATE and for the WATE with the Milch adapter and are very satisfied with the results. By a mix-up I ended with two spare!! Julius Bjornsson Posted October 4, 2007 Share #5 Posted October 4, 2007 Hi I registered my M8 and ordered one 39 and one 46. However I got one 49 from Leica, which I am not going to use. Willing to exchange that for a 46. JKB

Hi Guy, You must be clairvoyance :D. Yup, it is for my WATE. B+W and Heliopan are readily available but not Leica owns. I just missed one from a New York store..... . Guest guy_mancuso Posted October 4, 2007 Share #8 Posted October 4, 2007 Have to remember i had the first prototype from John of the WATE adapter . Still have it here too. Saving it for the alternative to Leica accessory museum. One someone is looking for a leica 49mm you can bet it's for the WATE or 75mm cron but there you can use a B+W Yes us early adapters learned a few tricks along the way. LOL We pulled a lot of hair out also
robsteve Posted October 5, 2007 Share #9 Posted October 5, 2007 I need help in locating one of these Leica filters. Does anybody know where I can find one of these Leica 49mm IR-cut filters, please? Thank you, Joshua I gave up looking and just had my dealer order one from Leica. While I am waiting, I found the Leica 46mm filter will fit inside the JLM WATE filter holder as long as you keep it centered while tightening the retaining ring. afineman Posted October 5, 2007 Share #10 Posted October 5, 2007 If you want, I have a Leica 49mm IR filter (black metal ring) New in an unopened box that I would sell for $150.00 plus shipping (or if you are in the NYC area we can meet and you can save on shipping). While waiting what seemed like an eternity for my "free" filter from Leica, I purchased one from a dealer. So, now that the filter finally arrived from Leica I have an extra one sitting on my desk unopened. -Aaron afineman@gmail.com Aaron Lee Fineman Photography - New York City
afineman Posted October 5, 2007 Share #11 Posted October 5, 2007 The filter that I have is a 46mm black Leica IRUV filter, not a 49, sorry. It is still for sale if anyone wants a 46mm filter.
