Strange patterns on Leica q images

I’m a long time M user and just picked up a Leica q that appears to be in fantastic condition. I’m getting strange patterns on the images. Any ideas?

I would say that it is not in fantastic  condition. That looks like a broken LCD, possibly moisture damage, , which is an expensive repair. Return to seller.

Yeah.  That’s what I’m thinking.  It is only upon image review.

in that case maybe something electronic. I wouldn’t bother to find out snd look for another one.

Is the screen covered by a protector?  These look very like Newton’s rings.
