spassig123 Posted November 14, 2022 Share #1  Posted November 14, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I'll deal with the FN keys for the first time. According to the manual - only now read, see screenshot - you should reassign an FN key by pressing it long and short. Long press the front bottom button. Then exposure/depth of field preview appears Selected toggle AF/MF with joystick. Then press the front lower button briefly. I thought that you can switch from iAF to MF? However, if I briefly press the trigger and the front, lower button, I don't notice anything. I don't see any changes in the main menu either. If I later select the front, lower button again (press longer), exposure/depth of field preview appears again. Have current firmware 4.0 on SL2. Am I doing something wrong? Photoworks Posted November 15, 2022 Share #2  Posted November 15, 2022 if you assign FN to toggle AF/MF you still need to confirm with another click on the screen. Just keep in mind that these customization are not save permanently, you will need to create a profile. if you want them everywhere you need to save them to all the profiles you saved. if you go back to default profile it will go back to toggle infos on the screen. If AF is what interest you, look if for some situations it is more useful to use back Botton focus. set the camera focusing to M, then press in the joystick to activate focus. I do this often for landscape , architectural, video and so on.
