Advertisement Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hi albert, Take a look here The Big Moon . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
samwells Posted September 28, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 28, 2007 Al - Especially like that first shot...like a Victorian paper cut-out silhouette; almost expect to see a bat appear at any moment :-) Nice, too, the way the moon effectively vignettes the composition. cheers: Sam
albert Posted September 28, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted September 28, 2007 Thank you Sam. I was just waiting for the moon to get above that tree. Got bored, and started shooting through the TELEVID.
stuny Posted September 28, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 28, 2007 Al - I agree with Sam and add that it makes me think of Halloween.
Julius Bjornsson Posted September 28, 2007 Share #5 Posted September 28, 2007 Thank you Sam. I was just waiting for the moon to get above that tree. Got bored, and started shooting through the TELEVID. Great photos. Do you mount the M8 or something else directly on the televid?
albert Posted September 28, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted September 28, 2007 Stuart: I empathize with your Halloween thinking. Thanx for the look. Julius: I attach the Televid APO 77 to a Manfrotto tri-pod. Then I attach the Leica Digital Adapter II to the 20X - 60X eyepiece. Then I attach either my C-Lux or in this case my D-Lux 3 to the adapter. I focus the Televid by looking at LCD of the camera. The camera is set to P, Macro, and pinpoint focus. I use the 2 second timer function to avoid movement. These were shot at 20X. Hope this helps. Thank you for the interest and the kind words.........................Al
