schimmey Posted November 3, 2022 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Good afternoon all, I know that a lot has already been written about the noise of the shutter so apologies for bring this back up 🙂 If have found that when turning the camera off the shutter closing sound is very quiet and delicate. When switching the camera on, however, it is a much louder (relative to that of closing). My question - the action is the same, just in reverse, so why is it that the two sounds noticeably different?
