kivis Posted October 25, 2022 Share #1 Â Posted October 25, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Excuse me, but Leica took a step up..... after 2002 (the end of the M6) with the introduction of the MP and M-A. So ok, the new M6 is nice but no biggie in my eyes. kivis Posted October 25, 2022 Author Share #2 Â Posted October 25, 2022 25 minutes ago, Al Brown said: They also introduced the M7 which was the successor to M6 and was sold until May 2018. The M-A only hit the stores in 2014. Of course, another fine Leica M body.
colint544 Posted October 25, 2022 Share #3 Â Posted October 25, 2022 'This camera is still hand-made from more than 100 different parts in a German factory' 'Leicas literally never come cheap' I think a typical film M has around 1200 parts. But it's nice that it might metaphorically come cheap.
wattsy Posted October 25, 2022 Share #4  Posted October 25, 2022 The article has a lot of errors in it. Presumably written by someone fairly new to Leica rangefinders and who hasn’t researched the history properly. Piss poor.
