Sohail Posted October 15, 2022 Share #1 Â Posted October 15, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm a Leica SL2 and Q2 user. I've owned almost all of the SL primes at some point yet my most favourite lens by far is the legendary Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2. Trouble is it's designed for a micro-four thirds sensor and mount. I understand it's technically difficult and maybe impossible to mount an M4/3rd lens on an SL2 but does anyone know if Panasonic is planning to introduce a crop mode function for M4/3 lenses like Leica has for its APS-C lenses. Advertisement Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 Hi Sohail, Take a look here M4/3rd lenses on a Leica SL2?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted October 15, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted October 15, 2022 Even then it would be impossible due to the difference in register distance.
Simone_DF Posted October 15, 2022 Share #3 Â Posted October 15, 2022 Why would you lug around a heavy brick like the SL2 to use 1/4th of the sensor size?

It would be nice to have lens "choices" in my SL2 bag.
