I'm a Leica SL2 and Q2 user. I've owned almost all of the SL primes at some point yet my most favourite lens by far is the legendary Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2. Trouble is it's designed for a micro-four thirds sensor and mount.

I understand it's technically difficult and maybe impossible to mount an M4/3rd lens on an SL2 but does anyone know if Panasonic is planning to introduce a crop mode function for M4/3 lenses like Leica has for its APS-C lenses.

TIA
