I'm hesitating between the Angelbird V60 and V90 SD card:

Technical data

SL2/SL2-S: max. 400 Mbps (Video frame rate)

Angelbird SD Card V60: Read Speed up to 280 MB/s - Write Speed up to 160 MB/s
Angelbird SD Card V90: Read Speed up to 300 MB/s - Write Speed up to 280 MB/s

=> 400 Mbps/ 8 = max. 50 MB/s

1) So for the SL2 and SL2-S a V60 card is more than enough. Is my logic correct?

2) For continuous shooting: the SL2-S has a maximum of 25 fps. Is a V60 card sufficient or is there a faster write with a V90 card for the "Drive mode Very High Speed (25fps)"?

3) In general, is there an advantage to using a V90 card on the SL2 and SL2-S cameras?

Thanks for your advice!

Don't own an SL2 but the Sony SD V60 card I had installed in my Nikon Z 6ii (24mp) would choke on 4K video. I could only record 4K in best quality to the CFexpress slot.

Fast forward one year. A friend gifted me with an ADATA 256GB V90 microSD from his broken drone. I got a UHS-II microSD to SD adapter to try it out. Result: 4K no problem!

If you plan to do 4K video, I would definitely go for V90.

But to be on the safe side: manufactures normally maintain a "approved card list" - stick to that. Be aware that they often give a product code - It HAS to be THAT product code, you can't just buy a "Sandisk 125GB V60" card because there is a such on the list - it has to be the specific product code if you want to be on the safe side.
