Thank you.

Hopefully I will be in a different trash bin than your aramid shavings...they might be toxic.

Sounds like a Hercule Poirot murder mystery.

Inspector Japp, I fear the Aramid Killer may strike again and soon if we do not find his Leica!

I'm just kind of bummed my kevlar *cough* :)  aramid fiber hasn't appreciably faded.  Never had a case - decent amount of UV exposure and gets out of the house pretty regularly.  Not much fraying either.  What little had occurred - I was able to just nudge it a bit with a fingernail back into place without actually trimming the fibers.

Maybe it knows I'm not a Reporter.

Between my post of 2 Jan and now my 18 month old Q2 Reporter fibre has started to fade where the fingers grip - a pale green-blue. No other deterioration, and it remains an excellent grippy material.

Yep - ever so slight changes directly where my fingers go.  More of a slight lightening vs. color change.

I want my nice overall patina.  :)

Well, I guess I believed the marketing pitch. Kevlar vests and all that’s. Plus, it *looks* rugged, lol!

I just read the marketing page on Leica.com They are 100% saying this camera is more durable than a regular Q2
