hello, i have recently bought a R3 body and i don’t know what lens to buy. I want to stay on the cheaper side but am aware that I’ll have to spend a bit of money. I don’t know which isn’t the best generic lens to buy ( for landscape and wildlife photography purposes )

Thank you, Red

"Third party lens"? Also "Nicht-Leica-Objektive"?

@ Redlette: What is meant with "best generic lens"? Non-Leica?

A 50 Summicron is probably a good all rounder first lens. Landscape and wildlife really call for different lenses (depending on what kind of wildlife photography).

You can also use Tamron Adaptall lenses on the R3 with the appropriate Tamron adaptor. I know some will gasp in shock at the thought but some of the Tamron lenses were really very good.
