stuny Posted September 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Let’s see who gets the “Marvin” reference. These three photos are in the Palace Stateroom Hallways, Valletta, Malta. You can see many more Valletta photos in both Azzo’s threads and in the first and second page of Malta photos on our site. vic vic Posted September 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2007 hi stuart...... the #3 is fantastic...... compared to 4 which is to static, in 3 there is great presence of space of the coridor.... very dynamic..... very "organic" feels like sectioned vision from real walk through the coridor therre........ and cool place of course )
stuny Posted September 17, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted September 17, 2007 Vic - Thank you. #3 was the first one I shot, and I was so excited I ran to Barbara to show her the too small image on the camera's screen. Part of my intent with the photo was what you observed, adding a great deal of depth by framing with the very close suit of armor on the right. hiphop Posted September 17, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 17, 2007 I like the light of the Nr 3. In the no 4 we feel like being there. A lot of presence in this shot. Pierre-Olivier

svenning Posted September 18, 2007 Share #6 Posted September 18, 2007 Dear Stuart Nordheimer, I visited the Palace in Malta many years ago with a 50 ISO Fujichrome Velvia film loaded into my Leica R4 camera. Need I tell you that my pictures turned out way too dark :-(( I really like your pictures and the way you have exposed them - you are a good photographer (!) Thank you for sharing :-)) All the best - Svenning, Denmark.
andybarton Posted September 18, 2007 Share #7 Posted September 18, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Fabulous work on the ceilings, judging by numbers 3 and 4, Stuart. Number 3 has the best feel of these, IMHO. Looks like an interesting place to spend some time. Is there a Paranoid Android around somewhere?
stuny Posted September 18, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted September 18, 2007 Svenning - thank you. You're too kind. Andy - Thank you, and the palace was worth the two hours we spent there. And of course you've ID-ed marvin.

azzo Posted September 18, 2007 Share #10 Posted September 18, 2007 I wonder where this country is !? It seems to me that you were on a roll when visiting ! Another set of fantastically taken images. As I recently told you on a thread of yours...you did a finer job in just a weeks stay, than that certain Azzo. Azzo
elansprint72 Posted September 18, 2007 Share #11 Posted September 18, 2007 Digital, Azzo...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are being unnecessarily modest, having shown us very many beautiful and creative shots from your little rock; but Stuart (and Keith) have perhaps looked at it with unfamiliar eyes.
