Back when you started, shooting in "monochrome" just meant loading a roll of BW film.  Nowadays we seem to need a second multi-thousand dollar camera to do what ANY camera used to be able to do...;)

well.....you still can, and not any camera actually is able - digital kind I mean ofcourse.

It's getting difficult to find film and labs - and can't see myself ever to go back into develop me own.

Anyway, yes I like my Q2M

will I give this up. For me it’s perfect in every way and has brought back the pure joy of photography. Am continuing black and white exploration of my stomping grounds which I started back in ‘59 with a Brownie. Anybody else like their Q2M?

I absolutely love mine. Started my Leica journey with a Q2 in 2019, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This year, I swapped it in for a Q2M, and I love it.

Love it so much, actually bought it's brother, a Q2...and just as impressed with the Q2 as my Q2M...

I confess to missing my Q2 at times. Am going to see how it all “feels” after my M11 shows, along with the new Pixii I decided to give a try. The Q2M affords elegance and speed, while I expect the M11 (just based on a single week’s rental) will be a more deliberate experience. Perhaps the Pixii with a Voigtlander 21 on it will be somewhere in between and even more compact. I make sure the Sony RX100 is always around, but TBH it’s not fun. Like having a spork. It’s great if it’s all you’ve got. But it’s merely and minimally functional.

P.S. Sorry for the drift.

Oh man, tough...think I would be enjoying that M11...yes different cameras...but that M11 is going to be sweet...
