Peter Branch Posted August 4, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone have any information about the location of the "Entry Pupil" of the Leica Q2M. I'm attempting to take some panoramic pictures of subjects near the camera, (pond weeds), so this may be significant. My Linhof Pan & Tilt head enables me to adjust for this in landscape mode. SAronian Posted August 7, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2022 An approximate "visual guess" puts it about at the aperture ring. There is an easy method outline here - Calibrating a Panoramic Head for Your Lens
Peter Branch Posted August 11, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted August 11, 2022 I have tried diligently to get the information from Leica whose latest message informs me that Leica Photo in Wetzlar do not have the information and that I need to determine the position myself using one of the "Null Parallax" techniques. Frankly I find this astonishing. this is not the Leica Wetzlar I thought I knew from >60 years experience of dealing with them.
