Swallows like to build their nests in clusters so in an effort to help the Swallow population our city parks department has put up strings of artificial nests like these. The Swallows eagerly inhabit them and in return they eat lots of mosquitos.

I love that sole bird. Thank you for this information Brent. I just learned something. It’s great that cities acknowledge nature and the birds. These nests look like sculptures. You seem to be out and about making images. I guess you are still passionate about photography. That’s inspiring. Regards. Carl

Thank you, Carl. I'm 77 and long retired but still carry a camera wherever I go. My day doesn't feel complete if I haven't made an image and I do still love the process of looking for something to photograph. Regards,           Brent

Thank you for sharing your story Brent. Hava a nice photographic day and I who am 76, understand very well your love of picture taking. A process that keeps us on our toes ( walking, observing, living).
