Nigel Craig Posted July 24, 2022 Share #1  Posted July 24, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an Elmar 5cm 3.5 collapsible which came attached to a IIIc 458417 (1949), but I can't find a serial number anywhere. The 1958 Elmar 5 cm 2.8 collapsible I also have has its serial number on the front face. Is it unusual for a lens not to have a serial number? Welcome, dear visitor! pop Posted July 24, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted July 24, 2022 It might be on the black ring protruding from the lens, closest to the front element. Look at the place adjacent to the gap between 'Elmar' and 'f=5 cm'.
