scottich Posted July 4, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I've got a Q2 rental for a week to evaluate it for a possible purchase. Amazing camera, but I'm struggling to retrain myself from my Fuji ways of shooting. One thing that really bugs me is the switch of behavior of the thumb dial in Program mode(A shutter speed and A aperture), going from Exposure Compensation to Program selection. Is there a setting to disable that and continue to have direct access to Exposure Compensation in Program mode? I've been through the menus several times and haven't found anything yet. I'm used to being lazy and shooting full Auto with the Fuji sometimes, but having the option to dial in some EC as needed. Thanks!

M11 for me Posted July 4, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2022 Your wheel setting should be on Exp. Compensation and NOT to AUTO
Le Chef Posted July 4, 2022 Share #3 Posted July 4, 2022 (edited) For Program Mode the Aperture Ring should be set to "A" and the Shutter Speed Dial should be set to "A". If you go to page 4 in the Menu -> Customize Control -> Wheel Assignment -> Exp.Comp -> Page 3 in the Menu -> User Profile -> Save as Edited July 4, 2022 by Le Chef
scottich Posted July 4, 2022 Author Share #4 Posted July 4, 2022 Thank you, @M11 for me! I also found this setting this afternoon. Much happier in lazy mode now. ;-)
