Last month the three of us completed the NC500 (North Coast 500 mile) which is a ride from Inverness-shire, round the coast of Scotland back to Inverness-shire. For anyone interested I've added a section to my website which goes into the detail of the ride and includes many photo's. All the photo's were captured with the Leica SL and 24-90mm Vario-Elmarit. Here's the link.

What a fabulous trip, Tom, and you came away with some wonderful photos. My favourite is the one of the white castle-like structure with the ominous dark sky, immediately before the one of the three amigos at John O'Groats.

Bit concerned at the lack of variety in motorcycles though...

What a great trip.  I rode Scotrail from Glasgow to Inverness then over to Aberdeen and down to Dundee.  Played a lot of golf along the way, including the Old Course & Kingsbarn.  I drove the first time I was there but the RH drive on the left side of the road was too nerve-wracking.  Scotrail was safer the second time -- for me & everyone else.
