The partygoers are joined by a raft of punts on the river containing non-paying onlookers, plus a few non-paying onlookers who have been allowed into Trinity College across the river for a free view. As always, it is the Hogarthian spectacle of town and gown at play that draws my Q2. Welcome, dear visitor!
